Timothée Ravier has a diverse range of work experience. Timothée currently works at Red Hat as the CoreOS co-Team Lead since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a CoreOS engineer at Red Hat from May 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining Red Hat, they contributed to the KDE project as a KDE Project contributor since July 2018. Timothée was responsible for maintaining KDE Apps on Flathub and was a member of the KDE e. V.

Timothée also contributed to the Fedora Project as a Fedora Project contributor since June 2018. In this role, they maintained Fedora Kinoite and was a member of the KDE SIG. Timothée also contributed to Fedora CoreOS and Fedora Silverblue.

Timothée Ravier has teaching experience as well. Timothée worked as a teacher at INSA-CVL on cloud infrastructures security at l'INSA Centre Val de Loire since September 2015.

Prior to their teaching role, Timothée worked at ANSSI - Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information as the CLIP OS development team leader from September 2017 to April 2020. Timothée was also an R&D Security Engineer at ANSSI from June 2015 to September 2017, focusing on Linux system security and developing CLIP OS.

Before joining ANSSI, Timothée Ravier was a PhD student at the Laboratoire d'Informatique Fondamentale d'Orléans (LIFO) from October 2013 to June 2015. Timothée co-directed their thesis with the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris Nord (LIPN) and their research focused on virtualized systems and cloud security.

Additionally, Timothée has experience working as an Engineer in Linux system development at SmartJog from October 2012 to April 2013. Timothée was responsible for C development and performance improvements in the company's media transfer platform.

Timothée also worked at CEA as part of the IT Security Team from March 2012 to August 2012. In this role, they studied SELinux performance and impact on high performance computing tasks and developed in C, C++, Python, and Shell scripts.

Timothée's work experience includes a contribution to the Open Source Center at Atos from June 2011 to August 2011. Timothée contributed to the QSOS method, including the development of the QSOS xuleditor and the Open Source Cartouche.

Timothée started their career with internships at ERDF in 2010. Timothée worked in the IT department, where they installed, configured, and administered IBM AIX and RHEL Linux servers. Timothée also improved a Shell script used for server installation reviews. Additionally, they worked as an interim employee, assisting with customer relations and the LINKY deployment, where they developed a tutorial and compiled a guide for the customer helpline.

Overall, Timothée Ravier has extensive experience in various roles and industries, including software development, system security, teaching, and open-source project contributions.

Timothée Ravier began their education in 2004 at Lycée Claude Fauriel, where they completed their Baccalauréat degree in General studies with a specialty in Maths. Timothée then continued their education from 2007 to 2009 at Lycée Claude Fauriel, specifically in the Classe préparatoire (MP) program, focusing on Maths and Physics. In 2009, they enrolled at the Ecole nationale supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Bourges, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in IT Security and Technology, completing their studies in 2012.
