Shahram Shawn Gholami

Shahram Shawn Gholami has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Shahram Shawn started their career as a Physician Surgeon at UCSF from 1996 to 2000. Shahram Shawn then worked as an Attending Physician at Good Samaritan Hospital from 2002 and at El Camino Hospital from 2006. In 2004, Shahram became a Partner at UASV, a role that they held until at least 2009. In 2008, they also became a Partner at LUGPA. In 2009, they co-founded Urologic Surgeons of Northern California and served as the VP Board and Partner. Shahram co-founded KDx Diagnostics Inc. in 2017 and held the role of Cofounder and CMO. In 2019, they joined Resurge Therapeutics as the Chief Medical Officer. Their most recent role was as a Partner at Boss Surgical Group from 2010 to 2016. Throughout their career, Shahram Shawn Gholami has demonstrated their expertise and dedication to the medical field.

Shahram Shawn Gholami began their education at Cornell University in 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Genetics. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1992, they went on to attend Boston University, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree between 1992 and 1996. Following their medical degree, Gholami joined the University of California, San Francisco for their residency programs. Shahram Shawn participated in the General Surgery Residency Program from 1996 to 1998 and later joined the Urology Residency Program from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, in 2001 and 2002, Gholami attended the Institute Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris, France, where they focused on Surgical Oncology, specifically Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgical Oncology.
