Yu Yu

Yu Yu has extensive experience in the field of bioengineering, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Pleryon Therapeutics since January 2018. Prior to this role, Yu held the position of Post-doctoral Fellow and Deputy Project Coordinator at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from March 2014 to November 2017, contributing to projects funded by the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission and the General Research Fund. Yu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where studies were conducted from September 2008 to March 2014, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the same institution, complemented by an exchange experience in Microbiology at the University of Bergen in 2007.
