Eric Yixin Yang

Eric Yixin Yang has a diverse work experience, starting from 1996 as a Surgery Resident at Dalian Medical University. Eric Yixin then moved on to Emporia State University, where they held several roles, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Department Chair, and Professor and Department Chair. From 2017, Eric began working at Kean University, where they held various leadership positions, such as Assistant VPAA/Acting Dean of Nathan Weiss Graduate College, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, Associate Provost/Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, and currently, they are the Vice President for Academic Affairs for WKU. In 2018, they also became the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Wenzhou-Kean University.

Eric Yixin Yang has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree in Clinical Medicine from Dalian Medical University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1996. Eric Yixin then pursued a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1997 to 2003. Following this, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2003 to 2005.
