Felice Vazquez

Senior Vice President & Special Counsel at Kean University

Felice Vazquez has a diverse work experience. Felice started their career at Kean University in 1995, where they worked as a Financial Aid Counselor and later as a Graduate Assistant at the Gateway Institute for Regional Development. In 1998, they joined the City of Elizabeth as an Assistant Director of Planning and Community Development. In 2005, Vazquez moved to Weiner Lesniak, where they worked as a Law Clerk and later as an Attorney until 2012. Returning to Kean University, they held various positions such as Special Counsel to the President, Associate Vice President of Planning & Special Counsel, and Special Counsel & Vice President of Planning until 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Vice President & Special Counsel at Kean University.

Felice Vazquez obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Rutgers Law School from 2003 to 2007. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Kean University. Additionally, Felice has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Kean University. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Mastering Design Thinking" from the Emeritus institution, specifically from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Management Executive Education.
