John provided executive leadership for a stand-alone wholly-owned subsidiary business unit.

Before their leadership roles, John held various other positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation from January 1987 to March 2006.

John Stanfill completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at the University of South Florida from 1982 to 1984. John then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business from 2001 to 2002. Later, from 2015 to 2018, they attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Physics from The Johns Hopkins University.
