Mary Jane Skala

Mary Jane Skala is an experienced journalist and communicator with a diverse background in reporting and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as a Lifestyles Reporter at Kearney Hub since May 2017, Mary Jane previously held roles as a Reporter at Kearney Hub and as a Volunteer Coordinator at Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center, where responsibilities included managing volunteers and producing various written materials. Mary Jane's extensive experience also includes a decade as a Senior Editor at Sun News, overseeing multiple award-winning publications and managing a team of staff and freelancers. Mary Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Michigan State University.
