Joel Masinter

Joel Masinter is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in data privacy and compliance. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Kearney since June 2021, Masinter has previously held senior positions at Aon from November 2016 to June 2021, including Senior Privacy Counsel and Privacy Counsel. Prior to that, Masinter worked at Trustmark Companies from February 2010 to November 2016, where roles included Senior Counsel, Privacy and Executive Compliance Analyst. Early career experiences include internships under U.S. Magistrate Judge Morton Denlow and Judge Louis H. Bloom. Masinter earned a Juris Doctor degree from West Virginia University College of Law between 2006 and 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Anthropology from The University of Georgia, completed in 2005.
