Mark Frakes

Mark Frakes is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in family medicine. Currently serving as an Attending Physician at Kearny County Hospital since May 2021, Mark previously held positions at Texas A&M Health Science Center as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Resident Physician from June 2016 to May 2021. Mark's early career includes roles as a Peer Tutor and Supplemental Instruction Leader at UIS Center for Teaching and Learning, as well as a Student Orientation Leader and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Illinois Springfield. Mark completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Illinois Springfield before obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Further medical training includes a residency and internship in Family Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
