Joseph Oyer

Joseph Oyer has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Joseph started their career as a Software Engineer at Seagate Technology in 2011 and worked there until 2015. Joseph then joined Frontier Communications as a Senior Developer from 2015 to 2016. After that, they worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at HID Global from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they served as a Senior Design Engineer at Itron, Inc. from 2019 to 2022. Joseph then joined Milwaukee Tool as a Senior Firmware Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as a Principal Software Engineer at KEB America, Inc. since March 2023.

Joseph Oyer attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. Their studies focused on digital logic, FPGA design, analog circuits, and transmission lines. Additionally, from 2008 to 2011, they also pursued a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree at the same university. During this time, they delved into electronics design, C++ programming, FPGA design, and embedded systems.
