Vikas Jain has a comprehensive work experience in the finance and commercial sectors. FCA FCS Vikas started their career in 1997 at WAPCOS Limited, where they worked as a Manager in finance, internal audit, taxation, and compilation until 2008. After that, they joined PL Engineering Limited as a Dy. General Manager in F&A, handling various responsibilities such as accounting, MIS, costing, audits, vetting legal documents, and contracts until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Financial Controller at UEM India Limited, an EPC company. FCA FCS Vikas then joined Kalindee Rail Nirman (E) Ltd. as the Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Semac Consultants Pvt. Ltd. as the Chief Financial Officer and also served as the Head of Finance & Accounts. FCA FCS Vikas'snext role was as the Head of Commercial at Kalindee Rail- Texamco Rail and engineering ltd from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at VCL, starting from 2023.

Vikas Jain has a diverse education history. In 1989, they completed their XII studies at Jain Samno Pasak, focusing on Commerce, Maths, and Accounts. Later in 1995, they pursued further studies in Accounts, Finance, and Audit at ICAI and ICSI, earning the degrees of FCA and FCS. Additionally, they obtained a M.COM and BCOM (H) during that time. More recently, in 2018, they attended XLRI Jamshedpur to receive the Certificate for Leadership and Change Management, specializing in Business/Commerce, General.
