Aleksander Kurlej

Aleksander Kurlej is an experienced broadcast professional currently serving as Engineer I at NBC Montana since January 2023. Prior to this role, Aleksander spent a decade at HERRING BROADCASTING INC, where responsibilities included directing multiple hour-long newscasts as Technical News Director and managing robotic cameras. Previous experience includes serving as Master Control Operator at KFMB-TV CBS 8, where Aleksander ensured the accuracy of on-air programming and prepared content for airing, and a role in video production and motion graphics at AltitudeSF, which involved producing a documentary and various studio art projects. Aleksander began their career as a Production Assistant at Stitch In Time. Aleksander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media & Video Production from the Art Institute of California San Francisco, earned between 2007 and 2010.
