Keck Medicine of USC
Alan L. Epstein, M.D., Ph.D., is a distinguished professor of pathology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where active contributions to cancer immunotherapy include the development of antibody fusion proteins and innovative biomarker assays to measure tumor burden through myeloid derived suppressor cells. Additionally, Epstein serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center. As the founder of Pivotal BioSciences, Inc., and previously holding an assistant professorship at Northwestern University, Epstein's academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University, followed by an MD and PhD in Cancer Biology from Stanford University.
