David Loor

David Loor has a strong background in information technology and security. David most recently served as the Director of Information Security & Risk Monitoring at Keck Medicine of USC, where they established and directed the Information Security program. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Information Technology at USC Keck School of Medicine & Hospital, where they provided IT leadership and managed a team of twenty. David also served as the Director of Information Systems at USC Independent Health Professions, where they directed IT services and supported faculty and staff on the Health Sciences Campus. Before that, David worked at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles as a Sr. Microcomputer Analyst and Biomedical Engineer, where they provided desktop support, managed servers, and performed maintenance and repairs on medical equipment. Overall, David Loor has extensive experience in IT leadership, information security, and healthcare technology.

David Loor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical & Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 1985 and 1990. David later obtained an Executive Masters of Leadership degree in Leadership from the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2014. In 2018, they also obtained a CISSP certification from ISC2.
