John Parsons

John Parsons, Au.D., is a clinical assistant professor of otolaryngology at Keck Medicine of USC, where John has served as an audiologist since 2020. Parsons completed an audiology externship at USC Caruso Family Center from July 2019 to June 2020 and worked as a graduate researcher at SDSU Research Foundation between August 2016 and May 2020. Previous experience includes serving as the technical director for KPBS, directing local newscasts, and producing content for NPR affiliates KUTX and Mood Media. An accomplished music producer, Parsons has received a CLIO Music Award for innovative media. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Audiology from San Diego State University, a postbaccalaureate program in communication sciences and disorders from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's Degree in audio/radio production from Emerson College.
