Rhona Fernandez

Rhona Fernandez has extensive work experience in the IT and management consulting fields. Rhona is currently working as the Sr IT Director, Administrative & Revenue Cycle Applications at Keck Medicine of USC since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the IT Director, Revenue Cycle Applications at the same company from January 2014 to September 2021.

Before joining Keck Medicine of USC, Rhona worked at Methodist Hospital of Southern California as the Sr. Applications Manager - Clinical & Financial from January 2010 to January 2014. Rhona also worked as a Management Consultant at MWH from February 2009 to November 2009.

In addition, Rhona has held various positions such as Sr. Director of Operations at Panache from September 2007 to November 2008, Director of Financial Systems at JD Power & Associates from August 2005 to August 2007, and IT Director, Financial Systems at The McGraw-Hill Companies from August 2005 to August 2007.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente from August 2004 to August 2005, a Project Manager at IBM from June 2002 to July 2004, and a Project Manager at Arthur Andersen from February 1997 to July 2002.

Rhona Fernandez holds a Masters degree in Health Informatics, which they completed from Northwestern University during the period of 2010 to 2013. Rhona also pursued a Study Abroad Program at Tokyo International University in 1994 and a similar program at the University of Cambridge in the same year. Fernandez graduated from the University of Southern California in 1996, having majored in Economics & International Relations for their BA degree.
