Rishwa Patel

Rishwa Patel, MPH, CIC, currently serves as a Senior Data Analyst in Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Prevention at Keck Medicine of USC, focusing on statistical data analyses, regulatory compliance for infection control, and developing innovative reporting practices to improve patient safety. Previously, Rishwa worked as an Epidemiology Analyst for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, contributing to COVID-19 surveillance efforts and data management. Rishwa's earlier experience includes roles at the Maricopa County Department of Public Health as an Epidemiology Data Analyst and as an intern at Riverside County Department of Public Health. Rishwa holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Loma Linda University and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Georgia College and State University, complemented by various certifications and training in public health and epidemiology.
