Vivian Nguyen

Vivian Nguyen is a skilled Histology Technician with extensive experience at Keck Medicine of USC since September 2021, currently serving as a Histology Technician II in the Dermpath department, specializing in grossing, processing, embedding, and microtomy. Previously, Vivian worked in the AP Lab, performing embedding, microtomy, special stains, and H&E staining. Early training as a Student Trainee involved operating Dako H&E and IHC stainers, as well as performing embedding procedures on various tissue specimens. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Student Trainee at Kaiser Permanente, focusing on embedding and microtomy of practice tissue specimens. Vivian holds an Associate's degree in Histologic Technology/Histotechnologist and an Associate of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, both obtained from Mt. San Antonio College.
