Michael Kempesty

Michael Kempesty has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael has held various roles at different companies.

At Kedrion Biopharma, their most recent position was as the Regional Sales Director, East, where they oversaw all commercial business activities in the eastern portion of the United States. Michael led a team of Territory Managers and Key Hospital Specialty Manager with the objective of growing business with healthcare partners. Prior to this role, they were the National Account Manager, responsible for building relationships within National Accounts and Managed Markets.

Before Kedrion Biopharma, Michael worked at Yankee Alliance as the Vice President, Member Operations. Michael served as a key member in this national Group Purchasing Organization.

Michael also gained valuable experience at the American Red Cross, where they served as the Regional Chief Executive Officer and Director of Sales in the Northern New England Biomedical Services Region. In these roles, they administered a $30M blood bank entity and led the hospital sales team in building relationships with numerous hospitals and achieving revenue growth.

Earlier in their career, at the American Red Cross in the Massachusetts Biomedical Services Region, they held positions as Supervisor of Sales and Account Executive, where they supervised staff, managed corporate partnerships, and developed blood programs.

Throughout their career, Michael Kempesty has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, relationship-building, and sales skills in the healthcare industry.

Michael Kempesty obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1996 and 2000. Michael then pursued a Masters Certificate in Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2010 to 2011. Following this, they completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2011 to 2013.
