Matt Gande

Matthew Gande is a distinguished chemist with extensive experience in polymer science and product development. Currently serving as Technical Fellow at Keel Labs since January 2024, Matthew previously held the position of Lead Fiber and Polymer Scientist at the same company from May 2019 to April 2024. Prior to this, Matthew worked at BASF from 2009 to December 2018 as a Research Scientist and Principal Research Scientist, focusing on superabsorbent polymers for hygiene products and offering technical support for silver-based antimicrobial additives in healthcare markets. Matthew's career began at Ciba Specialty Chemicals, where roles included Principal Technology Specialist, Sr. Staff Scientist, and Senior/Staff Chemist, emphasizing market introduction of new products and developing additives for various applications. Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Cornell University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Stony Brook University.
