Mark Ormerod OBE

Mark Ormerod OBE is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at Keele University, as well as a Professor of Clean Technology and Materials Chemistry. Since 2023, they have served as Director of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology and are also a member of the Board of Governors for Newcastle Stafford Colleges Group. Their previous roles include being a member of the Board of Governors at Harper Adams University from 2015 to 2023 and a professor at Keele University from 1997 to 2005, where they held several positions, including Head of School and Pro Vice-Chancellor. Mark's academic journey includes earning a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, where they were also a College Fellow.
