James Harnedy

James Harnedy is an experienced engineering manager with a robust background in software engineering and mobile application development. Currently holding the position of Engineering Manager at Keelvar since July 2022, Harnedy previously served as Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager at Over-C from June 2018 to July 2022. Prior to that, Harnedy was with Johnson Controls as Team Lead/Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included mentoring and acting as Scrum Master. Harnedy's expertise encompasses mobile solutions, cloud-based microservices for IoT platforms, and product development across various companies, including notable roles as Consultant at Gibson Innovations and Appesque, and as VP Engineering at both 24access Solutions and GPXS. Harnedy's career began with the position of CTO at Galty Technologies and includes earlier roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Critical Path and ISOCOR, respectively. Harnedy holds a degree from the University of Limerick, earned between 1992 and 1996.
