Katie Swim

Katie Swim is a seasoned professional in communication and human resources with experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Human Resources Hiring Assistant at Keeneland Association since September 2021 and as a Communication and Administration Coordinator for Children of Vietnam since February 2022, Katie has honed skills in recruitment and administration. Previously, at The Walt Disney Company from January 2020 to April 2022, Katie performed as a Character Performer, engaging guests through storytelling and maintaining character integrity. Prior experiences include a Promotions Intern role at Keeneland Association, where event planning and sponsorship acquisition were key responsibilities, and a Pool Manager position at NTS Development Company. Notably, a Cast Member Performer role at Disneyland Paris showcased Katie’s ability to adapt to new cultural environments while providing exceptional service. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Strategic Communication from the University of Kentucky and has completed studies at Florence University of the Arts.
