Aura Nelson has a strong background in consumer insights and research. Aura is currently working at KEEN as the Director of Fan Insights since January 2022. Previously, they held multiple roles at Wolverine Worldwide, including Senior Manager of Consumer Insights from February 2017 to January 2022 and Consumer Insights Manager from February 2015 to January 2022. Before that, they worked at Meijer as a Consumer Insights Specialist from June 2013 to February 2015. Aura also has experience at SmartRevenue, where they served as Research Manager from August 2012 to May 2013 and held various positions, including Project Manager from 2008 to September 2012 and Director of Standards from June 2008 to July 2010.

Aura Nelson completed their PhD coursework in Sociology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained a certification in Leading Forward from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in January 2021.
