David Wheeler

David Wheeler serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Keep America Beautiful®, focusing on expanding private foundation development and government grant-seeking initiatives for the organization's community improvement efforts. Previous roles include Director of Foundation & Government Grants at the Salt Foundation, Development and Communications Director, and Executive Director of the Conserve Wildlife Foundation, where significant funding and program expansions were achieved. David has also lectured on Environmental Communication and Introduction to Sustainability at Rutgers University and Mercer County Community College, respectively. An accomplished author, David published "Wild New Jersey: Nature Adventures in the Garden State," delivering educational presentations statewide. With an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Public Communications from American University, David brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, environmental conservation, and communications.
