Maarit Nilsen

Maarit Nilsen is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience in managing editorial content and publications. Currently serving as the Head of Editorial at Keesing Media Group B.V. since November 2023, Maarit has overseen the editorial direction for Keesing magazines and crosswords in Finland. Previously, from August 2018 to November 2023, Maarit held the position of Managing Editor at Kaleva Media, focusing on crossword magazines. Prior experience includes a role as a journalist at Kolmiokirja Oy, specializing in crossword publishing and social media management from June 2001 to November 2023, and earlier as a journalist at Alma Media Corporation from August 1998 to August 2000. Maarit holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Organizational Leadership from Oulu University of Applied Sciences, along with various educational credentials from institutions in Finland, the UK, and Iceland.
