Mariëlle Hoeks has a diverse work experience in various marketing and communications roles. Mariëlle is currently the Head of Marketing Benelux at Keesing Media Group B.V. since February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Marketing Manager a.i. at the same company from October 2020 to January 2021.
Before joining Keesing, Mariëlle worked as the Senior Marketing Manager a.i. at Duvel Moortgat from October 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for various brands and led digital transformation, brand activation strategies, business model development, and new product development.
From September 2016 to September 2018, Mariëlle served as the Head of Marketing & Communications at Miele Netherlands B.V, focusing on marketing and brand strategy development, digital marketing, and trade marketing.
Mariëlle also worked as the Global Head of Marketing & Communications a.i. at Hunkemöller International BV from June 2015 to January 2016. In this position, they led a team in developing creative content, implemented integrated marketing campaigns, and formulated marketing strategies for multiple European markets.
Mariëlle has experience in retail as well, having worked as the Head of Marketing at V&D from May 2014 to May 2015, where they developed and implemented marketing and brand strategies. Prior to that, they held roles at Etos as the Senior Brand Strategy Manager from May 2012 to May 2014 and as the Head of Marketing and Communications from November 2010 to May 2012. At Etos, they were responsible for driving retail KPIs, business development, and franchise expansion.
Early in their career, Mariëlle worked as the Head of Marketing & Communications at Wehkamp from June 2009 to November 2010.
Mariëlle Hoeks completed their high school education at Anton van Duinkerkencollege from 1983 to 1989. Mariëlle then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 1995. Mariëlle has also attended NCOI Opleidingen, where they completed a Leadership Development Program. Additionally, they participated in the Digital Marketing Academy at Beeckestijn Business School. Most recently, in 2022, Mariëlle took part in a Leadership & Coaching program at Frits Philips jr & Partners B.V.
