James Payton

Principal Enterprise Architect at Keesler Federal Credit Union

James Payton has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and systems engineering. James began their career at BKE, LLC as the Owner and Managing Member, where they provided computer and network repair services, troubleshooting, and assistance to clients. In 2011, they joined Keesler Federal Credit Union as a Systems Support Analyst II and later served as a Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, and Systems Engineering Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and management of infrastructure systems and services. Currently, James works as the Principal Enterprise Architect at Keesler Federal Credit Union, where they are in charge of defining architectural models, governance, and transition initiatives to align with the organization's business strategy. James also drives the acceptance and adherence to the technology strategy for all lines of business.

James Payton completed their high school education at Biloxi High School from 2000 to 2003, earning a High School Diploma. James then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University, which they obtained in 2014. Later, from 2018 to 2021, they attended The University of Southern Mississippi, where they received a Bachelor of Science - Business Administration (B.S.B.A), specializing in Business Administration, General. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in IT and cloud computing from reputable institutions such as Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, and Citrix.
