Ryan Staples

Ryan Staples began their work experience in 2005 at Appalachian State University, where they held multiple roles including Technology Support Technician, Technology Support Analyst, and Business and Technology Applications Analyst. In 2014, they transitioned to the University of North Carolina System, taking on the positions of Business and Technology Application Specialist (Banner Specialist) and later IT Manager. During their time at UNC, Ryan was involved in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting system-wide projects, primarily using Oracle PL/SQL and Linux shell scripting. Ryan also provided ERP technical support to 14 Banner campuses and established a local Git repository for source code management. In 2022, Ryan joined Strata Information Group as a Senior Consultant and later moved to Keeta as a Senior QA Engineer.

Ryan Staples completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Appalachian State University from 2003 to 2006. Ryan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the same university, which they completed from 2007 to 2011.
