Eric Amoroso started their work experience as a Hardware Engineer at Aerotech, Inc. in January 2013. Eric'sresponsibilities included programming motion controllers and developing embedded software features. Eric worked there until August 2014.

In 2015, they joined Astrobotic as a Research Engineer. Eric led the development of LiDAR state estimation algorithms for AstroNav, a GPS-denied SLAM solution. Eric was also involved in drone field testing and software maintenance. Eric developed a simulation framework for validation purposes using Microsoft Research's AirSim and Unreal Engine 4. Eric worked at Astrobotic until December 2018.

Since December 2018, Eric has been a Co-Founder at KEF Robotics. Eric has led the development of machine learning and simulation technologies. Eric also led the submission to AlphaPilot's Test 2 "Eye Exam", which was recognized as a top performing model. The end date of their current role is not specified.

Eric Amoroso earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a FAA Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration, although it is not specified when this certification was obtained.
