Roman Martynenko

Roman Martynenko, NACD.DC, is an accomplished investor and advisor with a diverse background in corporate leadership and governance. Currently serving as an Investor at Keiretsu Forum, VIRTUS TECH, and greyhairworks!, as well as a Non-Executive Director and Founder of Umego.ai, Roman Martynenko also holds advisory roles at Berkeley SkyDeck and has been a NACD Board Leadership Fellow since 2020. As the founder of Astound Commerce, responsibility includes leading global mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, and overseeing internal processes for scaling the organization. Previous roles include positions such as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Astound Commerce GmbH, as well as financial managerial roles at Demandware and Providian Financial. Roman Martynenko earned an MBA in International Business from INSEAD and holds a BS in Business Administration and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
