Lisa Lyman

Lisa Lyman is a Professor of User Experience Design at Boston University and a Senior Interaction Designer at Red Hat since August 2021. With a diverse background in user experience and product design, Lisa previously worked at Bose Corporation as a User Experience Designer and TOMY International as a Product Designer, where responsibilities included managing development teams and conducting user research. Lisa also served as the Boston Chapter Chair for the Industrial Designers Society of America and as a Program Manager for the Accelerate Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, assisting start-up companies and fostering community networking. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design and a User Experience Design Certificate from Bentley University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
