Russ Donaldson

Russ Donaldson is the current Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Keith Zars Pools. Russ has over twenty years of experience in finance and operations, with a focus on the homebuilding industry.

Donaldson began their career in finance, working their way up through the ranks of Key Insulation. Russ became the company's Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer in September 2012. In this role, they served as a business advisor to the North Central/Texas region presidents/division presidents, overseeing ten homebuilding divisions. Russ was responsible for the primary P & L for the region and supervised the accounting and financial operations for the largest region within Key Insulation, which included $1.80 billion in revenue, 8,500 home closings, and $230.0M in profit.

In December 2014, Donaldson left Key Insulation to join Keith Zars Pools as their COO. In this role, they oversee the day-to-day operations of the company and works with the president to develop long-term plans and strategies. Russ also manages the company's finances and budgeting.

Russ Donaldson has a MBA from Roy E. Crummer School and a BS in Accounting from University of Maryland.
