Nicholas Panarella

Nicholas Panarella is a dedicated litigator, trial advocate and appellate attorney. With more than two decades of experience in resolving serious, high-stakes disputes, Nick has litigated complex commercial matters pertaining to securities, antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate trust, employment, fraud, contractual disputes, legal malpractice, internal investigations and other business-related claims. Prepared, focused and diligent in the pursuit of his client’s objectives, Nick’s ability to analyze, organize and present complicated topics in a succinct but thorough and persuasive manner is highly valued by his clients and colleagues alike.

Nick has counseled and represented individuals and institutions in state and federal courts in jurisdictions throughout the United States. He has experience in a wide array of industries, including financial services, and manufacturing, among many others. His cases range in size, value and complexity from several hundred thousand dollars, to multi-billion dollar claims that have a direct and profound impact on his client’s bottom line and market position.

Nick has managed and resolved major litigation on a national level. He offers a proven ability to collaborate with business professionals and in-house counsel, assembling the right team and strategy to achieve more efficient, cost-effective representation. Nick is involved in evaluating cases at the earliest stage of development to determine if litigation can and should be avoided, as well as whether the matter could be resolved quickly through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution.

Nick also currently serves as Firm Counsel for Kelley Drye and as the Chairman of the Firm’s Firm Counsel and Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committees. Nick also frequently writes on professional responsibility-related topics.
