Matthew Strauss

Matthew Strauss is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in First Party Property Insurance Defense, currently serving as a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg since December 2018. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Associate Attorney in the same firm. Matthew's previous legal experience includes serving as Associate General Counsel for the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services, where responsibilities involved drafting and negotiating high-value contracts and handling bid protests. Additionally, Matthew was Assistant General Counsel for the New York City Employees' Retirement System, representing the agency in administrative hearings and managing contract negotiations. Early career experiences include providing employment law counsel at Tiffany & Co. and interning at the U.S. Department of Labor and the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
