Joshua McDowell

Joshua McDowell has an extensive work history in the security and law enforcement field. Joshua began their career in 2014 as a Security Operations Center Manager at St. Moritz Security Services, Inc., where they worked until 2018. In 2016, McDowell joined Advanced Security and Law Enforcement LLC as a Lead Instructor and also started working at Uber as the Uber ATG Security Center Manager. Joshua'stime at Uber lasted until 2019. In the same year, McDowell took on the role of Division Manager - School Districts at Kellington Protection Service, LLC. Joshua has recently been promoted to Vice President School Operations at the same company.

Joshua McDowell began their education at the Community College of Allegheny County in 2019, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Related Protective Services in 2021. In 2023, they enrolled at American Public University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Security Management, which they are currently pursuing.

Additionally, Joshua has obtained several certifications in the field. In 2018, they became a Certified Security Manager through the Private Security Professionals of America (PSPA). Joshua also obtained certifications as a BLS & Wilderness Emergency Care Level 9 Instructor, Certified Security Officer, and Certified Security Supervisor, all from the PSPA. In the same year, they became a Firearms Instructor and Skills Instructor certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2017, they became an NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor certified by the National Rifle Association. Prior to that, in 2016, they obtained certifications as a PPCT Defensive Tactics Instructor from PPCT Management Systems and an OC Aerosol Instructor from Safariland. Lastly, in 2014, they became a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certified Agent (ACT 23) certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
