Micael da Costa

Micael da Costa is a seasoned technology executive with a strong background in engineering and systems implementation. As the Chief Systems Officer and Co-Founder of KOKO Networks since April 2015, Micael has been instrumental in delivering technology solutions that enhance urban living in rapidly growing cities. Previously, Micael worked as a contractor for Real Impact Analytics, focusing on big data analytics for telecommunications in emerging markets, and served as a Senior Associate at CleanStar Ventures, where responsibilities included system architecting for sales and distribution in a sustainable energy venture in Mozambique. Early career roles included market modeling for Pöyry Management Consulting, engineering positions at Detica and Vodafone Spain, and a solid academic foundation with an MSc from Imperial College London and degrees in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from the University of Bristol and Télécom Paris.
