Karen Appel

Karen Appel is a seasoned auditor with extensive experience in internal audit and risk advisory services. Currently serving as a Lead Auditor at Kelly since October 2018, Karen previously held the position of Senior Internal Auditor at Schneider Downs from June 2015 to October 2018, where responsibilities included conducting full audit cycles and assessing risk management and compliance across various industries. Prior to that role, Karen worked as a Bilingual Accounting Administrator at F & P America from September 2012 to June 2015, managing Japanese SOX requirements and performing internal control testing in both English and Japanese. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach and an Associate's Degree in Business and Technology from Golden West College.
