Richard Lawrence

Richard Lawrence is a seasoned patent attorney with extensive experience in high-tech industries, particularly in software and computer-related inventions. As a Partner and Director at Keltie LLP since October 2008, Richard provides IP consultancy to corporate clients. Concurrently, Richard serves as Director of Patents at K2 IP Limited, overseeing patent clients and attorneys. Prior to these roles, Richard held various positions at HP Labs from 1997 to 2008, including Patent Development Manager and UK IP Counsel, managing patent operations and decision-making processes. Richard's career began at Elkington and Fife LLP as a Technical Assistant, focusing on semiconductor and optoelectronics technologies. Richard holds an MA in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge and an LLB in Law from The Open University.
