David Hochman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. David began their career in 1996 as a Senior Writer for Entertainment Weekly. In 2000, they transitioned to become a Contributing Writer for The New York Times. From 2002 to 2008, they worked as a Children's book author for Simon & Schuster, where they co-wrote "The Potty Train."

In 2005, David started working as a Content Strategist as a consultant for various brands, marketing firms, and media companies. Their role included providing services such as voice and tone guides, CEO ghostwriting, TED Talk training, and developing signature stories for brands.

In 2011, they became a Blogger for Forbes, covering topics such as travel, entertainment, and technology. David also worked as a Content Strategist and Executive Writing Coach for Upod Academy, a workshop and speaking series for editors, writers, and corporate communicators.

David joined Kelton Global in 2015 as a Content Strategist before transitioning to work as a Writer, Editor, and Brand Storyteller for UPOD EDITORIAL INC in 2012. In this role, they specialized in entertainment, marketing, technology, travel, and luxury.

In 2019, David became the Head of Insights for The Statement Group, a position they currently hold. Finally, in 2017, they began working as a Contributing Writer for Godfrey Dadich Partners, where they continue to contribute.

David Hochman earned a Master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in English at Vassar College.
