Barbara Seeliger

Barbara Seeliger currently serves as a Professeur Conventionné at Universität Straßburg and holds multiple roles at Institut de Chirurgie guidée par l'Image (IHU Strasbourg) including Fellowship Program Director, Senior Researcher, and Associate Researcher in the IHU Fellowship Programme. Barbara also contributes to the research initiatives of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery as a Research Committee member and acts as Secretary for the France Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Additional positions include Researcher in the Robotics, Data Science and Healthcare technologies Team at ICube Strasbourg and Associate Specialist Surgeon at CHRU de Strasbourg. With a background as a Specialist Surgeon at Kliniken-Essen-Mitte, Barbara has also participated as a Clarinetist in the World Doctors Orchestra, which supports medical aid projects through performance. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Strasbourg and additional medical degrees from RWTH Aachen University, among other institutions.
