Ash Ashmawy

Ash Ashmawy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ash is currently the Founder & CEO of Kemet Trading, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Ashmawy worked at Tradeweb as the Director, Head of Cloud Platform, where they led the firm's cloud platform function and developed the global cloud strategy. Ash also held the role of Director, Platform & Cloud Strategy at Tradeweb from July 2019 to April 2021.

In 2013, Ashmawy founded and served as the President of Cairo Confessions, a community platform where people could share their problems anonymously. Ash held this role until November 2021. Before that, they worked at Arcesium as a Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for establishing reliability standards and implementing automation engineering practices. Ashmawy's tenure at Arcesium lasted from January 2017 to June 2019.

Ashmawy also gained experience at Deluxe, where they held the positions of Platform Architect and Platform Engineer. In these roles, they played a crucial role in Deluxe's transformation into a technology company by designing and implementing an enterprise toolchain and leading innovative engineering initiatives. Ash worked at Deluxe from June 2015 to January 2017.

Additionally, Ashmawy is the Founding President of the Egyptian Student Association (ESA), a role they held from September 2015 to September 2016.

Ash Ashmawy's education history includes completing a Credential of Readiness (CORe) program in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School. Additionally, Ashmawy obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Minnesota, where they majored in Computer Science with a minor in International Business.
