Laurentiu Placinta

Laurentiu Placinta has an extensive work experience in quality assurance and testing roles. Laurentiu started their career as a Junior Software Developer at Alcatel-Lucent in 2010 and then moved on to become a System Test Engineer at Continental in 2011. In 2013, they joined ACI Worldwide as a Quality Engineer, focusing on ensuring the quality of the company's fraud management solution. Laurentiu then worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at UnifiedPost, where they provided business process optimization solutions and services. In 2018, they joined Dream Production as a Senior QA Tester. Currently, they hold the position of a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Kemiex AG, an online trading platform for pharmaceutical and food industries.

Laurentiu Placinta holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Communication Networks from Universitatea Politehnica din Timișoara, which they completed between the years 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the same university, graduating between 2007 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in Agile Software Development using Scrum from Mozaic Works in July 2015, and a Cambridge Advanced English Certification from the University of Cambridge in June 2006.
