Terhi Kivinen

Terhi Kivinen has a diverse and extensive work experience in various communication roles. Terhi is currently working at Kemira as the Chief Communications Officer. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Global Communications and Stakeholder Relations at Kemira. Before joining Kemira, Terhi worked at DSM, where they held the positions of Global Director of Digital and Functional Communications and Global Director of Internal Communications. Terhi also has experience as the Group Communications Director at Oriola Corporation and as the Senior Vice President of Communications, Marketing, and Investor Relations at Pihlajalinna Group. Additionally, Terhi has worked in communication roles at Pharmac Finland Oy, Tamro Finland/PHOENIX group, Ernst & Young, GlaxoSmithKline, AC-tiedotus Oy, and The Body Shop Finland. Overall, they have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in corporate communications, digital communications, internal communications, and functional communications.

Terhi Kivinen obtained a M.Pol.Sc. degree in Communications, economics, and organizational studies from the University of Helsinki from 1992 to 1996. In 2009, they pursued a Master of Environmental Management and Accounting program at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. In 2010, they received a Certified Business Coach certification from the Business Coaching Center. Additionally, Terhi obtained a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor in 2018. In 2016, they completed a course at the Boardman course.
