Kemper Freeman has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Kemper started working at Marymoor Dairy Farm as a farm hand in 1950 and stayed there until 1962. In 1966, they became a board member and chairman at First Mutual Bank, a position they held until 2006. In 1972, Kemper entered government as a Washington State Legislator and served until 1976. From 1974 to 1984, they were the president, chairman, and owner of Bellevue Broadcasters. Kemper then joined Kemper Development Co. in 1980 and has remained there as chairman and CEO since then.
