William Brooks

William Brooks, CPP, PCI has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. William currently serves as the Director of Risk Management at Kemper Development Company and is responsible for overseeing the risk management operations. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at PINKERTON | Corporate Risk Management Services and as a Risk Management Consultant at Hyatt Regency Seattle.

From 1987 to 2018, William held the position of Asssistant Security Director at Kemper Development Company, where they managed a multi-million dollar security program for a prominent mixed-use property. During this time, they successfully coordinated the security operations for The Bellevue Collection, a popular destination attracting millions of visitors annually.

Before joining Kemper Development Company, William served as the Chief Of Police / Emergency Services Director at the City of East Wenatchee from 1980 to 1985. Additionally, they held the role of Vice President at the Chelan-Douglas County Humane Society during the same period.

Their earlier career includes positions as a Police Sergeant and Police Officer at the City of East Wenatchee and as a Posse Patrol at the Chelan County Sheriff's Office. William began their career as a Police Officer at the City of Forest Grove Oregon in 1970.

William Brooks, CPP, PCI has a strong educational background in various fields. William studied Personnel Law at the Council on Education in Management from 1990 to 2005. In 1977, they briefly attended Highline College to focus on Criminal Justice/Police Science. Additionally, they pursued Crime Scene Photography at Green River College and Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at Wenatchee Valley College. In 2008, William obtained certifications as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and a Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) from ASIS International.
