Yuri Soldatenkov

Director Of Cybersecurity at Kemper Development Company

Yuri Soldatenkov has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering. Yuri is currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity at Kemper Development Company since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at F5 as an Enterprise Security Architect from 2020 to 2022.

Yuri's previous experience includes roles such as Enterprise Architect, Network & Security at Kemper Development Company from 2013 to 2020, where they were involved in various projects related to threat modeling, security architecture, information security procedures, vulnerability management, and network infrastructure. Yuri also collaborated with consultants and cross-org departments on infrastructure projects.

Before joining Kemper Development Company, Yuri worked as a Network Engineer at Digital Control Incorporated from 2011 to 2013 and as a Senior IT Consultant at Network Architects from 2009 to 2011. Yuri started their career as a Network Administrator at Norvanco International in 2006 and has also held positions at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission, Auburn School District, and Auburn Senior High School.

Yuri's expertise includes TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL, IAM, WAF, Radius, TACACS, Azure, VPN, and network security technologies. Yuri has also served as an Advisory Board Member for the University of Washington Network Engineering and Architecture Program in 2014.

Yuri Soldatenkov completed an Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) Certificate program at the University of Washington in 2013-2014. Yuri then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems, Networking/Security at City University of Seattle, and an Associate in Arts degree at Green River College. Yuri also holds a GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) from GIAC Certifications. Yuri is currently pursuing additional certifications including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA), and GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT).
