Kathy Surber

Kathy Surber has over 30 years of work experience in finance and operations. Kathy has served as the Director of Finance and Operations at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art since 2013, where they oversee financial management strategies and implements internal controls. From 2009 to 2013, Kathy was the Director of Finance at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, responsible for budgeting and advising on financial matters. Prior to that, they held a position as the Vice President of Finance (Interim) at C/3 Creative Consumer Concepts, where they supervised budget development and implemented a profit sharing plan. Kathy also has experience as the Vice President of Finance and Operations at C|3 Creative Consumer Concepts, where they managed accounting and operations and supported sales growth. Kathy began their career as an Accounting Manager at Select Farms, Ltd. and later worked as an Accountant at Doyle McKenna Bayer Brown Advertising Agency.

Kathy Surber holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Avila University. Kathy has additional certification as CFO of the Year (2015) by the Kansas City Business Journal - Not for Profit.
