Mark Freemott remains one of the longest-tenured executives at KemperSports. He joined the KemperSports family in 1997 as an intern before moving to leadership roles at Holly Hills Country Club, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Buckingham Athletic Club, The Governors Club, and most recently as general manager at Royal Melbourne Country Club.
His significant experience in operations with a strong background in food and beverage efficiencies make him a vital asset to the KemperSports owned club portfolio and the Keiser family portfolio.
Mark was recognized as the James R. Seeley General Manager of the Year in 2010 while at The Governors Club. He also served as general manager of Royal Melbourne Country Club when they were given the company’s highest honor – KemperSports Facility of the Year – in 2014. He was also recognized by Golf Inc. Magazine in 2015 on their list of the “Top-10 most innovative people in golf.” Mark was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2019.
