Tomi Ristimäki

Tomi Ristimäki has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tomi is currently the CEO and President of Kempower, a company that designs and manufactures DC fast charging solutions for electric vehicles. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Etteplan, a Technology Service company.

Earlier in their career, Ristimäki held the role of Sales Director, OEM at both Danfoss Power Solutions and Visedo Oy, where they specialized in electric power-train sales for various industries. Tomi also served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Visedo Oy, where they played a pivotal role in the global sales and marketing activities of the company.

Ristimäki has also gained experience in product management, having worked as a Product Manager, Variable Frequency Drives and Sensors at Honeywell. Additionally, they have held various roles at Vacon Plc, including Key Account Manager, Global Accounts and Segment Marketing Manager.

Early in their career, Ristimäki had teaching and research positions at Tampere University of Technology. Tomi also had R&D trainee roles at Vaasa Control Oy (later Vacon) and ABB.

Tomi Ristimäki earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Management from Tampere University of Technology from 1995 to 2001. In addition, they pursued additional studies in Marketing at the University of Tampere from 1999 to 2000. Prior to their university studies, they attended Isokyrö High School from 1991 to 1994.
